Hey, what's this website all about anyway?

We at Totally Goblin are trying to provide an entertaining and informative site that will go a step beyond a typical blog, and instead be more like sitting around listening to your pals talk about movies. There is no set agenda...Brent will not be reviewing the new releases every week, and he won't be busting down the doors of Best Buy on Tuesday to provide with the up-to-date scoop on the latest Collector's Edition of "The Mummy".

Instead, every day Brent will try to express his views on whatever movie pops into his head at any given moment...like he does when he's having a normal conversation with a friend.

Who is this 'Brent' anyway?

J. Brent Stewart is a freelance "writer" and rockstar born and raised in God's own city, Louisville, KY: Home of Ali, HST, and Kentucky Derby racehorses jockeyed by bourbon-swilling, Slugger-wielding elves. He's very passionate about movies, basketball, meat, Batman, and women.

What can I expect to find at TotallyGoblin?

A little bit of everything. The content will skew towards film commentary, but there will also be offerings of short stories and bits of the books Brent is working on, as well as rants about basketball, comics, and women.

Can I date and/or marry Brent?

Probably not. While he is single, he tends to spend his spare time watching basketball, practicing with his band, selling his worldly possessions on eBay, or writing things for this damned blog.

However, if you are Neko Case, Nicole Kidman, or any other woman with lots of thick, beautiful, red hair, Mr. Stewart can probably make an exception.
